I am using this blog to share my latest passion for the culinary arts with my family and friends. Born into a traveling family and holding dear to my southern New Orleans roots, I have acquired an extensive palette for good eats. Food differentiates one culture from another, embodying its traditions and customs. Conversely, food is universal. Food sustains us. It is true that some are more fortunate than others in this world, and so it is important to appreciate not only the food that we eat but also every gift that we have in life. In addition to having fun with cooking, I try to reflect and thank God for each meal that I have before I eat.  Ultimately, I hope to share a bit of what inspires me with you!
