A picnic might be the most down-to-earth dining experience, literally. Everything changes when you take lunch from the confines of a walled-in room and rigid table setting and bring it outside to the vast openness and fresh air with the ground as your table. Suddenly, the menial task of eating lunch is less about filling an empty stomach and more about the company, scenery, and conversation.

Picnics are the perfect way to slow everything down a bit and appreciate the natural setting around you. All you need are a couple bowls of fresh salads, fruit, and a fork for everyone. Picnic lunches are best when shared. Everyone equipped with a fork in hand, bowls can be passed around as people converse. Enjoy this beautiful spring season and don’t let lunch keep you inside.
